Where we work

HealthRight Foundation Uganda is registered and permitted to operate across all regions of Uganda. Our initial focus is Northern Uganda and refugee-hosting districts, where longstanding relationships, community structures, and health-system partnerships already exist.

Population groups

  • Women of reproductive age
  • Children and adolescents
  • Refugees and host communities
  • People living with HIV
  • Rural and underserved communities
  • Populations affected by conflict and displacement

Experience we build on

HealthRight Foundation Uganda builds on community networks established through HealthRight International’s programs in Uganda, which historically reached approximately 18,000 people annually. This provides a strong foundation for expanding locally led and community-owned health interventions under the new Ugandan entity.
